Hair Relaxers

For decades, women of color have been using hair relaxer products to straighten their hair.  In October 2022, the results of a major medical study, of the "Sister Study," revealed that chemical hair relaxers pose a three-fold risk of uterine cancer.  A similar a study funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute on Minority Health Sciences, found a doubling of the risk of developing ovarian cancer.  Hair relaxers contain toxic ingredients that are known to disrupt the endocrine system, and the makers of these products have been negligently putting the health of the women who use them at risk for far too long.  If you or a loved one has used hair relaxer products and developed uterine or ovarian cancer, please contact us for a free case evaluation.
