Over the past decade, thousands of lawsuits have been brought on behalf of women injured by transvaginal / pelvic surgical mesh products used to treat pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and stress urinary incontinence (SUI).  Since 2011, FDA has required manufacturers to provide warnings about the serious risks of complications from surgeries with these products, including perforation of organs or blood vessels, erosion of vaginal tissue and vaginal scarring, painful intercourse, and permanent pain and suffering.

Although many of these lawsuits have settled, some have not.  And new claims are still being filed.  Leckman Law is evaluating cases involving the most serious complications, with multiple revision or removal surgeries and permanent injuries and disfigurement.  If you or a loved one have suffered injuries resulting from a mesh implant, you can contact Leckman Law for a free evaluation of your case.
